If you have ever thought about singing in a choir, having the opportunity to sing magnificent choral works by great composers or singing a cool arrangement of a Beatles song, then come and join us, even if you are only slightly interested. You won’t actually know, until you sing with us.

 

New members are encouraged to attend a couple of rehearsals prior to joining. Having some skills in reading music is ideal or having excellent aural skills would also be very useful. An informal audition is arranged. You will be asked to listen to a phrase of music and then sing the phrase back to see how well you can pitch the notes. You will also sing a section of a song we have been singing in the two rehearsals you have attended.

 

All members of the choir are expected to show commitment by attending regularly.

 

Cantabile Singers are a very friendly group of people.

They make new choristers feel very welcomed.
