SEEKING TENORS AND BASSES

Come Sing Your Heart Out!

Cantabile Singers is a four-part (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) community choir based in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. We sing a wide range of music, including songs from musical theatre, light jazz to classical pieces, spirituals and Sacred works. In order to further build our male membership, we are urgently seeking bass and tenor singers.

The choir performs two major concerts a year and is available for weddings, soirees and other performances. For this year's mid-year concert we are performing Broadway songs, including compositions by Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hammerstein and Leonard  Bernstein. We are currently the resident choir for the Hazelwood Park Carols by Candlelight evening. Recent public performances include appearances at the 2009 "Relay for Life" event held at the Santos Stadium and at the opening ceremony for the 2009 Australian Masters' Tennis event.

We rehearse on Wednesdays at St George's Anglican Church at Magill with a  professional Musical Director and accompanist. Some previous experience and an ability to read music would be an advantage. Just call Fran on 0403 833 891 and she will arrange for you to attend a rehearsal.

We look forward to meeting you!
